Minister Carr and Minister McKenna to Make Announcement
OTTAWA — The Honourable Jim Carr, Minister of Natural Resources, and the Honourable Catherine McKenna, Minister of Environment and Climate Change, will make a joint announcement on January 27, 2016, at the National Press Theatre (NPT), 150 Wellington Street, in Ottawa.
Prior to the announcement, there will be an embargoed technical briefing for media at the NPT beginning at 4:00 p.m. EST.
For journalists attending the briefing in person at the NPT, press gallery accreditation will be required and an undertaking will need to be signed concerning the embargo.
Journalists joining by phone will need to register by 1:00 p.m. EST by calling 343-292-6100; media credentials will be required upon which further logistical information will be provided.
