Amidst all the misdirection and conflicting opinions, sometimes we find a nugget of knowledge. While there is no way to know in advance which gossip and opinions may eventually turn out to be correct, sometimes it is an interesting exercise to think about the probability of certain items being more correct than others, if nothing else then for peace of mind.
