Gravelle Wants Movement On Ring of Fire

Michael Gravelle is hopeful for movement on the Ring of Fire in 2016.

The Minister Responsible for Mines and Northern Development says one of the barriers to developing the massive mining project had been a strained relationship with the previous federal government.

He says it'll now be possible, since they'll be working very closely and in a far more cooperative fashion with the Trudeau government.

Gravelle says he doesn't think the province can reach the full potential of the Ring of Fire without investment from the feds. (File photo)
