I want every one to know that there has never being drinkable water in the northern area of ontario. The water has always being needed to be processed. The only reason for anyone to have gone to the north was to hunt fish and trap. The FN never lived in communities but traveled in smaller groups, probably from better water to better water. The area was never ment to be permantly inhabited in reserves without modern science making it livable. The reason treaty signing was able to be done was partly due to First Nations wanting help with sickness due to water conditions. This, to me, is the main problem that Canada never fully adressed and it should have been the first problem to be solved. Its no wonder FN are pished. Now that they are there, it has become home, and if Canadians want to have FNs as Canadians, the sevices needed to make communities has to be done. If FNs don;t want to move then they must allow development. The old ways don't work as the northern communities have grown larger than fly-in can handle.
