The Canadian Pacific Railway - from Ontario to B.C. - was roughly 4,200 kms and was built in under five years. (1880-1885).

The proposed Ring of Fire road - an all season gravel route, not a series 400 highway with interchanges - is about 300 kms. give or take as there will also be link roads to the four FNs communities along the way.
