since Canada is officially in a recession...

Of the priority list prepared by the Liberals..

The Ring of Fire is the only project in the list that the fed's have stated:

considering that Canada is now in a recession...it makes sense for the feds to pick the projects that will create the biggest bang for the buck.

The Rof in the past was also described as big enough to not only pull Ontario out of recession but also all of Canada.
