Hey relax, am not upset in the least. We all here are to help each other. Heck we sure need all the help we can get.

Yes a core can be split down the middle but it is usually done to retest the core when there is some doubt of intitial assays or it is done for test of other metals that may be suspected after the initial assays.

But as far as I know, normally the cores can not be destroyed because they are evidence.

I take it back, they can be used for other purposes but then the evidence is gone and the data obtained from them is considered worthless, the drilled hole location is abandoned or redrilled.

That is my take as an abstract. Ed.
