Many countries of eastern Europe were in similar situations or worse as the Greeks and they did pull up thier sleeves and got to work. Many are doing much better now.

Greeks on the other hand, more or less, continued on the same spending spree and now that Europe is forcing them to pay up for their expenditures they accuse Europe of dictatorship ( and worse).

Some of my aquaintances mainly in Germany and elsewhere say no more No way.
