The Canadian Mining Expo 2015, The Big Event as it is affectionately called around Timmins, Ontario has gotten better, become more global and will be more fun according to Jay Cornelsen the National Communications Director for Canadian Trade-Ex the company that hosts the annual mining show.
“Just when we thought the show couldn’t get any bigger and better, we got bigger and better,” Cornelsen said.
One of the most exciting and innovative features Cornelsen pointed out is the live demonstration junior mining camp experience at the Syracuse Gold property in south Timmins about 10 minutes from the McIntyre Community Centre where the show will be held from May 26-May 28, 2015.
“The junior mining camp experience will include onsite drilling and heavy equipment demonstrations,” Cornelsen explained. “It will give you the most realistic taste of what mining exploration is like without actually working in the field.
