Message: Matawa FN Unity - NOT

With more than one interest for mining chrome....the issue has been, for a long time now...which route. Noront wanted E-W; Cliffs wanted N-S road; KWG wanted N-S rail.

Some FN support the Noront plan, while others favor Cliffs and/or the KWG plan

What is at stake here is that this issue will be resolved once and for all..

Cliffs chrome assets will be consolidated with Noronts...so no N-S route....and that puts the road vs rail option to rest as well

With control of almost all the chrome under one company...Noront....they can now make a decision that is the most economical ....and is easiest to permit and move forward...which is becomming more evident

The E-W route will support more than just mining nickel. I believe that will eventually lead to chrome production as well...perhaps a little at a time, until such time that it supports further infrastructure.

Before now, the government played up to the company with the deepest pockets...without really committing to any. They couldn't very well make any decision that favored one over another...without a fury of criticism. I believe that is why we haven't heard anything back with respect to the much anticipated Deloit report

If these chrome assets go to anyone but Noront....we're back to step one....with E-W vs N-S...and furthermore...N-S road vs N-S rail.

They aint even started on the permitting for the N-S
