Newfy's and Maritimers are Canadian but distinct

French thought they were their own country for a while but had a referendumb and found out that the majority wanted to be Canadian. Hey the FN helped on keeping us Canada on that as well. FN like being Canadian.

B.C. and Alberta even discussed being seperate.

A while back when prairie grain was big, Alberta Sask. an Man. talked about being their own.

We will always have somebody who talks dis-sadisfaction with Canada, but when it gets down to it, Canada remains.

I too think that we need to remove this outdated system of putting one group of people as different. The French are French but Canadian, the people from Newfoundland joined Canada in 1949. Its time those who were here before stand up and join again in modern times. If a referendum and the concequenses were shown, I bet 80% of FN people would go for Canada. Where else with so much area to live, is the freedoms of so many different people upheld.

Lets not do that kind of changing society happen in the ROF but in OTTAWA where it belongs.
