I think everyone is missing something.

The FN are pissed at watching FWR get millions for what they believe is theirs. Now Noront buys "their" resource for 20 million and again no one pays them anything or even talked to them untill after the fact. They do not see the millions the investors have put in to define the resource or see the past treaty as what it is, them joining Canada. They have been convinced that they remain a nation outside of Canada and that this land is their Nation. FN have changed from isolated tribes to a group together trying to change the past. The sad part is that the vocal leaders and some western court decisions have made them think that what happens other places is what they should get also. As we have seen in the world tody, a small group can cause great problems. I believe our CEO has seen this and if the Matawa group can see past their self-indignation and deal with Noront, they may just find out that by Noront getting such a deal, (Cliffs would of never sold to Matawa), Noront is in such a position that by even giving up half the resource as a partner with them, that everybody will be able to succeed in getting a future. This would be like Noront getting the full resource for 40 million. Still we would ALL be happy if we had gotten this resource at that price? Wouldn't we. Nobody even blinked at the 7 year to 5 year change in the deal. If I hadn't heard 20 million, I would of been happy like a pig in shat with 40 mil. Everybody needs to calm down and get back to the negotiating table , now that we can do the deal as just 2 instead of the many. Governments will be more able to function for us now that we can be one. FN/NOT joint venture. Just wait, it will happen sooner than you think. We were suprised with this deal, just watch what happens with the NEXT!!!!!!
