A partner's reward/payout should be proportional to the risks/capital that they have incurred. So determine what the percentage of the ~$200million investment that Noront has made thus far, has been put up by those parties crying foul , and allot them that same percentage of any "rewards" that Noront has reaped thus far....have they put up $5miilion? (5/200 equals 2.5%, and 2.5%of $22million is $550,000)...$2million (2/200 equals 1%, 1% of $22 million is $220,000) and so on.
Seems like a very straightforward and fair approach to me. What colour is the sky in the world of those where that would not be considered to be fair?
Once again I am reminded of the quote "All animals are equal , but some animals are more equal than others".
