I think the underlining theme is that the FN should do a little EA of their own communities, and then ask themselves if they are truly living up to the stewardship that was bestowed upon them by the creator. Something tells me that the dirty laundry hanging outside their front doors is no different then ours; too embarrassing to show to their neighbours to the south. The plus side to their issue is that their pollution problems are no doubt small enough that its nothing a little resource sharing can't tackle. Southern Ontario on the other hand should be so lucky, our pollution issues are huge and our taxes still don't take care of it. We are no doubt enabling the north to slowly follow suit.
