I would say Harper is being backed into a corner here but its quite obvious he has been there for quite awhile and doesn't seem to mind the view; content with his position. The irony to this is that although it would appear we have a leader who handles pressure, we in fact have someone who is afraid to take charge, especially when it comes to issues like the Ring of Fire. IMO with what has been transpiring as of late he had best come out of his corner fighting, or risk being handed a stool and dunce cap as he continues to sit in his corner doing nothing. Of course do nothing will ruin his partys' chances at calling the shots next year, so my guess is that with this staring him in the face he will soon say something or do something useful to show he and his party are actually looking after not only Ontario and Canada's best interests, but those of the First Nations as well.
