But we had a steel industry in Hamilton and what happened?

Edgy

here is my opinion

We sell off our Steel companies to foreign owners beacause as tax payers we get tired of supporting them.

Foreign owners come in make the tough cuts the industries need to survive but mostly gain access to our markets and our raw materials.

Stelco is now US steel (Hamilton)

Algoma is Essar?? steel (Sault Ste. Marie)

Dofasco is ArcelorMittal (Hamilton)

The only consistently profitable steel company was sold to ArcelorMittal a few years back and I have not seen them speak about the Ring of Fire.

Maybe they are a silent partner of Noront. This would definitely add to deeper pockets and ArcelorMittal has worked on projects with Baosteel before.

Noront has the ingredients themselves to do stainless. Maybe a strecth but exploration company, to junior minor, to Stainless Steel Giant. Don't I wish...

IMHO
