Message: Noront's interest in CLF chromite holdings - A possible reason

There could be a good reason for NOT to express interest in CLF chromite holdings, perhaps too much interest by saying "first in line", etc...Even though it has Black Birds (still need more drilling), but BT and BD are quite ahead, e.g. CLF has a PEA for BT and ready for its EA application, and the ONtario bureaucrats are familiar with CLF previous game plan. Also, this game plan for BT could be easily modified if it's decided to do BD first along with BC, since they are the best deposits in the area interms of grades and locations (e.g., high grounds). A cheap acquisition from CLF say at ~$200M (~40% of the orginal cost) would be good for NOT. Bet that Baosteel would be willing to foot the bill.

Although this is a longer term project compared to Eagle Ni project, but my crystall ball says that NOT (or whoever that will have the package from CLF) should be wise enough (it`s just a sound business decision) to form a JV with KWG, since 30% BD and the RR and the gas furnace process. This would be a win-win solution for everyone, including Minister Gravelle. A major will need to get involved whether it`s Baosteel or Glencore, or some other major.

NOT and KWG would need to work together to reap the benefits. Being friends are better and more profitable than being otherwise.

RoF development will happen, not be 10 years from now, but perhaps 5 years. Seven (7) years would give Minister Gravelle enough time to get it right, but that would be at the edge of my patience.
