The good news here is that employment figures are low and we have a few extra billion in our federal money bag to invest in turning this around. No doubt the Feds are now seriously looking at the number of jobs that could possibly be created should they follow suit with Wynne and consider throwing some money at the Ring of Fire. We all know that the " Beneath the Surface " paper put out by the OCC has conservatively suggested that job creation attributed to the direct investment by both levels of government could create more than 5000 jobs in and around the Ring of Fire, not to mention the trickling affect across both the province and the country. Something I think the Feds can't afford to dismiss seeing as how the Ring of Fire could greatly improve these employment stats.
