OSPE Commends the Province for Investment in the Ring of Fire

On Monday, the provincial government announced that it is prepared to commit up to $1 billion to develop strategic industrial and community transportation infrastructure in the Ring of Fire and is calling on the federal government to equally match this funding. Priorities for this investment will be established in partnership with First Nations, governments and industry partners through a development corporation created by the Province. OSPE commends the provincial government for committing to invest in this important project that will create thousands of jobs and contribute significantly to Ontario's economy.
