Dutchmen and Funkey would like to thank all Canadians once again for their solid contribution to liberate The Netherlands (and the larger part of Western Europe) on the 5th of May 1945. It is thanks to many of your fellow Canadian soldiers and civilians backing them at home that my country is a free democratic country this day. Yesterday we have paid tribute to all who have lost their lives in this period. Today we celebrate Liberation.
