Representatives of NOT and Cliffs attended a meeting at Dynamic Earth yesterday. KWG was absent for some reason? I did not attend but heard a few clips on CBC morning north today.

The Chamber is trying to raise the awarness of the ROF in Southern Ontario as they see a lack of awareness as one of the main problems. (excellent initiative). This is a project that will benefit not only N. Ont. but Ontario and Canada. The problem is that it is not on the radar of people outside N. Ont This needs to change. Polititians will drag their feet unless they see it as important to their constituants.

Cliffs suggests that it is impossible to get investors to support the project when there are so many unknowns...like will it be an e-w road or n-s. They suggest they are still interested in developing the project.

Dick DeStefano (Chair, Sudbury Mining Supply Sector) told the company reps that it doesn't help that they can't agree on the various options.
