TinMan, you are speaking of the days of Richard Nemis during the discovery & exploration phase of Noront and Eagle One, Eagle Two, AT12, Triple Gold, Blackbird 1 & 2, Thunderbird and yes Windfall & the building of the ramp. Those were very heady days with rich discoveries, lots of juicy assays and plenty of PPs to finance it all. That was 2007 & 2008 mainly and Nickel, Gold, Platinum prices were flying.

Then came the twirp Warren Irwin and his hedge fund and he was a spoiled little brat. That famous AGM of 2008 when Warran T Exerciser (search my post on that) had bodyguards and George from Agoracom & others were not allowed into that meeting. Irwin was on a search & destroy mission to oust Nemis and his infamous quote of "I'll take this stock down to 20 cents" still rings in my ears. Many of us wanted to meet that little prick in a dark alley but he hid like the worm he was. But certainly, I wouldn't give this slimeball Irwin any credit for taking NOT down to 20 cents although he may be credited with starting the slide at that 2008 AGM.

Everyone wanted a piece of the pie whether they deserved it or not. The FN's started the blockades, JP Morgan reared it's ugly head, turncoats appeared at NOT (ask me).... and all the while Noront was still exploring & making more discoveries with more terrific assays.

Many investors flew the coup, seeing the trouble on the horizon. Nickel, Gold & Platinum went down and then the market crash and Bear Streams, Washington Mutual, etc. fell, all while the greedy manipulative Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Merrill Lynch were making billions off of this crash. The governments were handing out trillions to Big Banks and the Big Fix was on.

Noront's rise to $7.00 was all about an amazing discovery of a vast and wealthy mineral belt and it's fall was more about the greed of a few manipulative Investment Houses, famous for market crashes and their billions of dollars of profit from that. Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan feed off these events and help to drive them furthur into the ground. The Bilderbergers had won again. But now names like Goldman, Morgan, Getty, Rockefeller, etc. starting cropping up and they were exposed so they had to hide under new secret groups. The US gov't helped them and others of course with those trillions of cash to "save the banks". And we all know that was just a pile of BS to help erode the middle class and the American 401 savings and RRSPs and mutual funds, etc.

So, ahem, in summary...... :-) Noront and the ROF was and still is an amazing discovery that could have been developed much earlier had the greed of a select few not got in the way. Timing and greed bit the ROF in the azz.

So you can blame the FNs and the Provincial Libs and the Harper majority, but the real culprits are the greedy Goldmans, Morgans and Big Banks of this world that IMO, are the real cause of falling metal prices (shorting gold, etc.) and the market crash that they licked their chops on and made trillions from with absolute disregard for the rest of the population.

And they'll do it again and again because they control the world's finances. Money is power.

Paliman, Goldfinger, NotForLong, Seloc, Derek, Cooper, George from Agora...... you remember some of these facts. Weigh in your thoughts.

Disclosure : I am still a healthy NOT investor with avg SP in the 70 cent range. And I do intend to profit from my investment. The ROF will be developed and it will become one of the richest mineral belts in CDN history with mine lives for over 100 years. So far only a fraction of the deposits have been explored. There are still many targets to drill, like that big cone that borders NOT & the old FWR claim boundary (ask me) and that other cone on the old Probe lands (ask me) and so much more.
