I think the Provincial Liberals will soon be a distinct species :)
Oh, they're already distinct. Perhaps you meant extinct?
The only problem is that politicians of all colours basically seem to share a lot of the same characteristics.
With respect to comments earlier about the potential presence of the AG at the KWG/CLF hearing in April, there seems to be a lot of uncertainty about the AG's intended role at this hearing.
I haven't really figured it out myself, but I do believe in one thing. The liberals have stated time and time again that they're doing things slowly in order to "get things right." The conjecture that they might intervene in support of Cliffs would not be "getting things right." Cliffs wanted a private road. KWG has made it know that their model supports access by all players. I've seen some politicians do some pretty dumb things in my day, but Ontario will not step in and create a situation where Cliffs can create a private road.
Would they suggest that the claims are illegitimate? Perhaps. But if KWG is agreeing to allow the route to be given to the Development Corporation for use by all parties, they won't do anything to stand in the way of that type of infrastructure.
