Funny you should mention offers Stratopod, I am sure Alan is mulling the whole idea over in his head as I type. If you do recall he did mention that if Cliff's holdings in the ROF should ever come available that it would not be out of the question for Noront to consider. The question here is can Noront make such an offer in their current state; I think not. Nor is this the direction they want to take considering the lack of a railway to increase the feasiblitity of going after the chomite; future plan. However, should the right group of individuals, or should I say the right company (?), which I dare not mention, decide to join with them to secure these additional ROF holdings then success in aquiring these assets may be at hand. One can only hope this happens, and soon.

Noront has shown the right degree of leadership here, and I think it would be foolish of those who take over Cliff's assets to not somehow be associated with Noront ; or KWG for that matter. I don't know of any other company so well connected in the ROF as Noront, so IMO any who attempt entry to the ROF without their help will find the venture to be a very rough ride. Joining with Noront I think would be a wise decision so as to avoid the issues (FN, EA, government....) that have plagued Cliffs in the past, plus deepen the pockets Noront can grab from to move beyond Eagle's Nest sooner than anticipated.
