This comment has nothing against you Tin Man for posting but what a stretch of the immagination by this community.

It is located about 30 Km south of highway 11 and about 300 Km south of the Ring.
Any transportation of ores from the Ring is not going to be anywhere close to their community, by a long shot.

So what are they trying to do?
Cash in on smoke, and in reality there is no smoke but they are trying to create it.

Yes they will get some benefit IF some members get up and move north, close to the Ring and get a job there.

Otherwise there is no connecion between them and the Ring.

Most opportunistic if I ever saw one and a bad example for the Huffington Post article.

Maybe I, a south Ontarian, should demand compensation for miners settling in my province, lol.
