Message: Mines minister confident Ring talks making headway

Toronto-based mining policy analyst Stan Sudol said he has heard talk that Cliffs is "quietly trying to sell their assets in the Ring of Fire.

Baosteel will give them, lets say .10 on the dollar. After all, there is much more than one resource. Should of let Noront have it or at least took out Noront at $4 a share. Classic case of openpitidiotus. Don't get all hyped into thinking that rail is the only way to transport concentrated chromite pellets . Its the best and it could come in the future when and if demand increases but technology can overcome much more than old thinking of bulling your way through the land. There does not have to be that much chromite come out every day to make it a product that North America can buy without shipping from overseas. We may even get an eco ferro chrome smelter close to project site. That would concentrate the ore to trucking pure ferrochrome..
