Market Closures and Tax loss Selling

On Tuesday, US and Canadian markets will close early for Christmas Eve - at 1:00PM EST.

The last day for tax loss selling is December 24th for Canadian listed securities.

On Wednesday, US and Canadian markets will be closed for Christmas Day.

On Thursday, US markets will reopen, but Canadian markets will stay closed for Boxing Day.

The last day for tax loss selling is December 26th for US listed securities

On Friday, things return to normal. Canadian and US markets will be open regular hours.
