Historically lowest price to aquire these options (3.6 million shares). Long term outlook for these shares is very good (5 years). Noront should be producer by then... or we will all be X2 shareholders.
Is there a convincing reason to splash these shares around the office now before Dec.20?
Dissapointed this is the first press release with Alan's signature to it.
At least they didn't grant the options on Christmas eve week like they did a few years back!
Things could be making a swift turn for Noront. There has been more talk in Parliament over the last few days about "Northern development". With an MP openly stating the millions being invested in northern the east-west road network into the ROF. Also a nice quote from Gravelle below (today's proceedings) in regards to ONTC:
Hon. Michael Gravelle: "I think the member knows very well how hard we’re working to make the right decisions related to the long-term sustainability of the Ontario Northland Transportation Commission. We’ve got a ministerial advisory committee in place with people such as FONOM president Alan Spacek and North Bay mayor Al McDonald. We’re working really hard at focusing on transforming the ONTC so that, indeed, it will have a long-term sustainable future.
I’ve got some fine quotes here from the members which reflect the fact we are focusing on transformation as opposed to divestment. We want to make the right decisions, the ones that are in the best interests of north-erners. We recognize how important the ONTC is as an economic development tool in northeastern Ontario, and we’re going to make the best decisions to make sure that the ONTC has a bright future and one that’s based on the right decisions being made."
8 more days for real news?
