will support the Ring to the same extent that he has other projects of similar value in other provinces. In effect that he does not discriminate on grounds of politics.

I also hoped that the two would reach an agreement of what proportion the Feds and province would share the total costs of the E/W road.
I consider hydro to be a totally provincial matter together with the up keep of the once finished road.
The rail way as mostly private venture with potential support or tax breaks from either or both governments.

Yes I do agree that Harper will wait for an opportune moment so that he looks like the saviour of the Ring. Media attention is paramount with him, more than most politicians of late.
The senate debacle may be contributing to make an announcement soon.

I think there is a window just before Christmas, otherwise I do no expect it until spring time.
