Sudbury’s Mayor Talks Ring Of Fire With Premier

The mayor of Greater Sudbury is confident that there will be some good news coming on the Ring of Fire development.
Marianne Matichuk says she had a telephone conversation with Premier Kathleen Wynn this week who assured her that the provincial government is working hard behind the scenes to get this project back on track.
Mayor Matichuk says it’s time the finger pointing stops and instead some hand shaking on new deals takes place.
Cliffs Natural Resources announced last week it was pulling out of the project…a move that jeopardizes the construction of a chromite processing plant just north of Capreol.
