The most likely reason for lowering the sp well below it's value is to garner more shares when the company goes for financing.
I do not think that owning a particular percentage of shares before hand has anything to do with it. All they do is report their new hold. The reporting should not be a problem for the holder, nor a hindrance to greater aquisitions.

I do agree that RCF is a true believer in NOT.
