Hi Stratopod,

There is no legal way under the Mining, Aggregate or Land Acts that the Minister of Natural Resources could expropriate the CCC RR ROW in this particular case.

The CCC route does cross one other claim apart from Noront's claims at the ROF northern mine area. A minor break in CCC's railway claims is held by Discovery & Northern Shield. (I do not count claims held by those companies already working with CCC like FNC.)

CCC's rail route does not go through Canterra's or BMK-Temex mining claims.

Anyone could prove me wrong by posting the claim number in question.

Again, unlike Cliffs, KWG will work toward an amicable solution with the claim holders, one of mutual benefit, rather than threatening easement or expropriation.

Anyone with interests in Noront should hear the alarm ringing!
