Message: Some Straight Talk

Very good discussion started up by SN.

Correct me if I'm wrong:

Edgy stated: Who lays out mining claims in a straight line? Only exception is a known fault along which is ore of interest. None exists except perhaps for some gravel. It is obvious that the claims were made to tie up a path for transportation and will not be drilled.

Was the land not staked by Canada Carbon with Cliffs understanding and collusion? A partnership. I recall that Canada Carbon was created to hold title etc. So the staking in a straight line or along the sand bars was done for the sole purpose of building a route of transport. That route of transport was to benefit both or all companies.

I also thought that Cliffs reneged on KWG which caused the riff between them. Correct me if my memory is failing.

I thought Cliffs threatend KWG with other atrocities re business. I thought KWG had no choice but to fight if for no other reason for their very survival and that of the shareholders.

Seems to me that all Cliffs need do is phone Frank or Noront and get the ball rolling. That seven years could then be wiped down to nothing.

have a great week end gang
