It is not just the needs of Noront:
The roads and rail that will be built will be without bridges thus acting as dams to the flow of water. And the cariboo are afraid to cross a road or rail line, and they will die at the sight of a truck or a train hauling ore.
How about all the white people coming to work or as plain tourists. If they do not scare the wild life to Manitoba then they will burn down the forest with their cigarettes, not to mention all the garbage that will be thrown along the roads and rail line.
God forbid, because natives do not harm the land with their skeedoos nor have the ability to claim as theirs a larger tract due to better transport. ( Oh, are they going to relinquish their machinery?)
Let the natives have the north and live as they did in centuries past so that my tax burden will be lighter.
Superlatives from the other side.
