khreema, a different view from me.

It is my opinion that by NOT attempting to take out FWR for a few cents it (NOT) involuntarily set a very low price for everything ROF. Had the offer been a few dollars as it should have been things may have turned out differently.

A few cents a share for what I say is the worlds largest chromite deposit was an insult to the share holders. Had it not been the ARU crew controling NOT at the time, Mac Watson would have acquiesced. I know from personal conversations with many involved with Freewest that the battle cry was "anyone but NORONT" simply because of their leadership.

Mind you Cliffs was no better because they came in as a knight in shining armor to ssave the day only to slap the shareholders again.

I understand that like the massive deposit of Noronts the chrome also is difficult to extract but that wasn't the issue. How much do the Noront share holders want for their shares if a by out came along? Would they be insulted by 50 cents? Would they be insulted by a dollar? Especially after holding for some time? Of course they would. Same with me and others in FWR. We were insulted.

Consider NOT has a deposit and FWR had a deposit. Why should one be worth pennies a share while the other is worth several dollars?

Also your queery that perhaps efforts should be directed more towards making CLF a friend rather than an adversary is valid but keep in mind that the animosity was created by Cliffs. As you know the ball is in their court. Not ours. We can extend the branch or rope but we should wait until they come crumbing. there is no place for anyone at the head of a table. The table of the ROF should be round and all parties should have equal say.

Thats my opinion but then again what do I know?...:)

Really good chatting with you agin K.
