Last August I posted about a Federal 45 million dollar program for training.

$45 million project to train First Nations people to fill high paying jobs during development, construction and production of a mine

I googled info on this Northern Training partnership fund and got this site:

When you go on the site the fund is no longer accepting applications. The 45 Million was spoken for very quickly.

For the hard earned 45 million in tax payers contributions...2400 people aboriginal and non aboriginal were being trained for jobs.

If you open the link from 2010 you'll see that the program must be completedby March 31, 2013.

So, 2400 people that participated are finished with this training and looking for jobs in the North.
