From what I've been readingin various newspapers it looks like Sandra Pupatello is in the lead for Premier of Ontario.
I remembered that she was with McGuinty at the meeting in Hong Kong Nov.3, 2010 to discuss Chromite. I hope she wins for a number of reasons...one being she is very familiar with the ROF.

Investment, Chromite Top Agenda For Premier In Hong Kong November 3, 2010
Leaders from Hong Kong's business community met Ontario Premier Dalton McGuinty and ministers Sandra Pupatello and Michael Chan to discuss investment opportunities in Ontario.
Premier McGuinty spoke at a reception hosted by the Canada-Hong Kong Chamber of Commerce. Guests included leaders in mining and financial services. McGuinty credited Ontario's strong financial services sector for helping it weather the global recession better than most other economies. He also talked about the government's plans to develop the Ring of Fire, an area in Northern Ontario that contains one of the world's largest chromite deposits.

Candidate Kathleen Wynne's team said in a statement that her campaign has the strongest grassroots support with the most donors at 1,049 and the lowest average donation at $489.
The Don Valley West MPP has pulled in $511,893, the statement says.
Sandra Pupatello's campaign announced that she has attracted the support of Maryanne Kampouris, the Liberal Party of Canada's national policy chair, who was elected as a delegate in Glengarry-Prescott-Russell in Eastern Ontario.
Harinder Takhar spoke at the Toronto Board of Trade Monday where he pledged to create a Small Business Development Corp. and a dedicated Ontario Infrastructure Savings Bond.
"If I become premier, I will eliminate Ontario's deficit a year earlier by 2016-17 without drastic cuts, but by focusing on finding efficiencies, generating revenue and cost reductions," Takhar said.
Candidate Gerard Kennedy said Monday he would focus on steps to address inequality in Ontario.
"If elected leader, I will immediately move to ensure that the party and government take steps to ensure gender, ethnicity and sexual orientation are better represented immediately," Kennedy said.
Ontario Liberals will elect a new leader and premier at a convention at Ryerson's Mattamy Athletic Centre at Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto this weekend, with voting on Sunday.
Based on delegate support, Pupatello is at the head of the pack with Wynne a close second.
