"the board of Directors can finally hire someone with some personality who is respected in the industry, but I wouldnt count on it"

Basically people hire their own kind and being that this BOD is not investor friendly and certainly not retail friendly, I doubt very much if they have the capacity to "serve".....only to be served. The proof is in the pudding my friends and this pudding went bad a long time ago. I likewise wouldn't count on it. I would suggest that the only way for this company to get a decent BOD that could perform would be through an investor revolt.

There is no question that many stocks have suffered over that last years regardless of new finds and attempts to increase SH value and depending on the kind of stock, but this BOD has demonstrated little in the way of awareness, concern, respect or even lip service to the average investor. It was never required to treat people so and the contempt they displayed for anyone who mistakenly thought that somehow a BOD was there for the investors was revealed very early after the proxy battle.
