Yes, I understand that. I'm just curious about general feelings. I'm not going to hold anyone to their predictions. I live/work in four provinces ... BC/AB/NB/NS. Central Canadian politics is something that I would normally pay to ignore. But I'm curious about some of the politics, and if I am, there must be a lot of American investors who are even more in-the-dark. People are saying that Adrian Dix and his NDP's might win the next BC election. Does the NDP have any strength in Ontario? Do they have real knowledge of issues, or are they a lot of crackpots? Would a Conservative victory be of benefit because of increased likelihood of support from the feds in various arenas? Are the liberals likely to have a chance of retaining power due to being incumbants, or is the province ready to turf them? Do they legally have to call an election this spring, and if not, how long can they retain power before forced into an election?
I hate seeing politics on these boards when there is finger-pointing and blame, and polarization. But like it or not, the provincial politics are probably going to play a major role in the investments that many of us have here. Maybe a bit more for KWG than for Noront, but I feel that a lot of us here invest in both companies, and perhaps other ROF companies too.
I would just love to see someone from Ontario try to give a poor Maritime boy a glimpse of what the "big picture" considerations are. If nothing else, that could affect my relative weightings of KWG and NOT in my portfolio in the coming months.
