When the precedent is set that a stock can be taken for pennies....and all of the big boys buy into it, then all of the investors buy into it....then it becomes the new norm with lowered expectations for the small investor. The game is certainly set up for the carnivors to feast and being that there is precious little character left in the biz world what we have is what we have. It's called greed, deceit and worst of all.....no governing body to set a level playing field. There is only one goal but anything goes to obtain it. The market is no longer an investment strategy but a speculative one and by the large investors is played by the second. I wouldn't want to be a new company post IPO. You'd be missing your underwear before your first line came out of assembly.
