With regards to constructing a new road for Stornoway
Here's the link http://www.kitco.com/reports/KitcoNews20121115AL_interview.html
Some highlights:
"Under the new agreement Quebec will complete 143 kilometers of the road as a two-lane highway, while Stornoway will be responsible for completing the final 97 kilometers."
"Quebec will provide Stornoway with an unsecured credit facility of up to C$77 million at an annual interest rate of 3.35%, amortized over 15 years, with a repayment schedule based upon planned commencement of commercial production at Renard."
"The Renard Diamond Project is located approximately 250 kilometers north of Mistissini and 350 kilometers north of Chibougamau in the James Bay region of north central Quebec. Probable mineral reserves stand total 18 million carats with 17.5 million carats as inferred mineral resources, and 23.5 to 48.5 million carats classified as non-resource exploration upside with an initial 11 year mine life."
Here we have a project that is to be the next big thing in all of Canada and after years of talk we still have no firm committment....not from the fed, and not from the Ontario government.....and I thought it was Quebec that had problems with corruption and kickbacks.
