And why is this manipulation? Are you suggesting someone saw the news and decided to dump a bunch of shares to keep it from running? If so, why not let it run a bit further, say to .40, or .42, and then dump?
More likely, it was someone who has been accumulating 2 or 300k shares over the last month, expecting a bounce, and when it came, they dumped.
The thing is, this was just a bit of proximity news today. Actually it is the first indication that there is still some effort happening in the wings towards an eventual rail link to the ROF. Since the major players here, such as the two levels of gov't, Noront or Cliffs, don't even seem to have it on their agendas, I wouldn't expect too much action as a result.
This does though, as Vermilion says, give a bit of indication on how fast this could run if and when we do get a positive action regarding infrastructure.
