Hello Strato,
I am aware of the JV between FNC and BOL. But from CLF point of view it would not make too much difference what percentage of the claims FNC has. CLF needs some elbow room for BD (and BC of PRB as well) and the transportation access... and they could take over that percentage from FNC and negotiate with BOL for the rest (or they can just lump BOL in a TO as well). Both CLF and KWG (and NOT) have a sharp eye on that piece of FNC properity just next door to BD and Eagle.
Just came across a site plan for BD (from KWG, with CLF concurence?) and it would seem that KWG already has plan for some of FNC claims. Again, KWG/CLF can negotiate with BOL so that where they want to dump the waste rock and low-grade ore can be worked out with BOL (for not interferring with BOL drilling). It's my guess that BOL drilling would be in the C-1 area (near Eagle, for Ni) where FNC has intercepted significant chromite.
FNC has drilled quite a few holes up in the northern part of the claim (C-5?) and concluded that the area did not have much significant stuff. Perhaps they have already worked out their game plan... years ahead of us. Could these drilling be considered as condemnation drilling so that KWG/CLF can buy that portion off from FNC/BOL for dumping waste rock, low-grade ore stockpile, and build some facilities along with access roads and leave the rest of the sandbox for BOL to play in?
Just my speculation. Do your own DD before rolling the dice.
