CLF is an American company and Rio can take a shot at them ...

Noront is Canadian. The Canadian Gov't is going to be spending big bucks in Rofville for infrastructure and already has 45 million of our tax money in use training First Nations. They many not take too kindly to spending that kind of money and watching the largest landholder get taken out for cheap.

The USA gov't is not spending a dime of infrastructure in the Ring of Fire.

We already saw what happened when a greedy bid came for a Canadian National Potash Treasure...it got squashed.
