"If Noront had a "slush fund " to buy outstanding shares when the share value is low and the volume of shares sold on any given day is also low as it has been for past couple of months.Would that not reduce the amount of out standing shares, building equity in the company and in all probability reduce the probability of the freefall we are now seeing or at the least slow it down???"
And where would this slush fund come from? NOT doesn't make money...they just spend it presently and that money comes from the PPs etc. The shares we buy now are just being traded. They don't make the company any money. Now wouldn't it be nice if these well to do BOD types and management types would take some of their booty and splurge on a few shares. Some companies do but the NOT suits don't as it would appear that they follow the old adage to never use your own money if you can use someone elses. Now, the day that you see the NOTsters picking up shares on the open market will be cause to take note. Big note. And, at these prices it wouldn't be a bad idea.
