Message: The Ring of Fire and the Oil Sands

Pretty much all of this is just a bunch of misinformation such as what has been prominent in the press of late.

First point is that there are virtually none of the complaining First Nation communities located downriver from the ROF. The closest ones (both upriver), are Webequie and Marten Falls. Also notice the silence coming from either of them.

Secondly there will be little, if any, pollution of the sort described, other than what is created from normal human occupation.

On a third note, the pollution supposedly (created?) by oilsands operations are a result of natural conditions. Any stream or creek in the area has long been the carrier of whatever pollution exists in the local flora. If anyone takes the time prior to making false statements, and actually sees the existing situation and compares it to the end result after mining has taken place and the area is returned to nature, would understand that conditions 50 years after the fact is far superior to conditions 50 years before.

Best regards
