Message: Wes confirms improved feasibility study at conference
Let's hope the second prediction (below) comes true. Peter Re: Noront silence noted/peter in response to Re: Noront silence noted by NevilleD posted on May 09, 12 03:09PM Use the IP Check tool [?] "Silence may be the best weapon here. Let Cliffs and the Province hammer out the funding and do the legwork for infrastructure. Noront rides the coattails. What do you think??-NevilleD" Agree. I think NOT's pending (and overdue) feasibilty study(bankable) can now be updated(and released) with lowered road/rail cost assumptions and earlier Cr revenue start date assumptions, for example. Better ROI, higher profits; earlier start-up; banks and NOT will love it. Baosteel would love this power/transportation assurance by ON. Risk reduction of costs; earlier start for NOT's RAMP (Ni extetions to depth; earlier Platinum/Paladium revenur streams, etc ); and good for PRB and FNC's Cr market value/marketability: The PRB/FNC Chromite is no longer stranded.
