Recent suggestions that the ROF has fallen off the radar screens of most market players appears to be unfounded. Some of these news releases describing the situation would suggest the writers have been paying close attention and are capable of providing some good factual information. Of particular note though, is that all the attention appears to evolve round Cliff's. In some respects, this could be good and in some others, not so good.

The not so good is that recent events have produced only miniscule upward pressure on Not's share price. The good part is that it allows them to fly below the public radar screens, if that is the intention. But why?

Hints of what is to come:

Webequie has gone to great extents to maintain a positive outlook on the progress of events. They have been very vocal in support of the east west corridor, have the most to gain if it comes to fruition, and have the closest ties to Noront of all the local communities. With this in mind, they are most prominent in describing recent discussions in the most positive manner.

Noront is almost a year ahead of the curve compared to Cliff's. They have a bankable feasibility report that is now overdue according to Wes, while Cliff's is just beginning theirs.

They have a shorter time frame to production than Cliff's, and could even begin shipping concentrate by winter road in the right situation.

They have the potential to rival Cliff's in the chromite business, and as it will be an add on to their nickel, their startup costs will be far less then Cliff's.

The above are but a few of the facts surrounding Noront, and they are facts, not just suppositions. However, they are not being publicly disseminated. Why?

I have to believe there is a reason Wes and company are conducting things as they are. We do not know what the reasons are, and we apparently have no right to know. The collective minds making these decisions have far greater history and knowledge than any one of us could ever imagine.

I do accept that a time will come when they decide to open the floodgates of information, and when they do I expect to be there ready to shake their hands. If I didn't believe this, I would not be here.
