The way i`ve often stated it is that 95% of the voting population of Ontario,lives in SOUTHERN Ontario.I live in the north.I live amongst and talk with the "poor First Nations" people.I hear their words LIVE.I watch their actions.LIVE.Every day of my life

The images created in The Toronto Star and the CBC in vote rich Southern Ontario, and the actual FACTS, are two totally different things completely.

Years ago,i helped a First Nations neighbor,a friend and co-worker, load up one day and move back to a reserve about ten miles from here.At the time,i naively asked him why he was doing that,as he actually worked for a living,with us.I was young

He promptly,and quite correctly,answered,"why the hell should i be paying 14% mortgage rates and income tax when the government will get YOU to buy me a house and i can keep my whole pay cheque living on the reserve".He took advantage of the lopsided deals Great Britain had struck with his ancestors centuries ago.And the only non negotiable contracts that i know of still in place to this day.GM almost went bankrupt for god sake,but never the First Nations.

I was young,but that was the day i started to realize,i may own the structure i live in some day( i do now),but i`ll always be paying "rent",for the rest of my life(like i do now).Income tax.It was called the Indian Affairs Budget back then.My overtime to buy him a house.And all his new neighbors,99% who DIDN`T work.And this province is after doctors,teachers,police,etc,etc pay cheques.

I helped my friend move,went to my father that very day and asked him..."isn`t there something not quite right about this whole setup?"

And that was the day my eyes were opened to the reality of what a second class citizen i was.Or sucker

Yes,believe me,i understand.That`s not the problem.It`s the votes politicians pander for south of Barrie Ontario that are the problem.Maybe not all,but far to many.

So biased,perhaps.Realist,definitely.

PS (Check McQuinty`s campaign speeches.He PROMISED in one to develop the ROF.Like a fool i believed a politician and started buying ROF)
