> 50 to 100 truckloads of ore and concentrate will be loaded into as many as 100 rail cars near Nakina and bound for the ferrochrome smelter north of Capreol daily.

> At full capacity, the smelter will produce 1,500 tonnes of ferrochrome per day.

> It will also generate about 2,100 tonnes of slag per day. (more info on this re stock pile and usage of slag).

> The arc furnaces at the heart of the ferrochrome smelter will be heated electrically. Current estimates are approximately 300 megawatts, roughly the amount of electricity used to supply a city of 300,000 people.
